The snake grabbed the dead
rodent
by the face and started swallowing.
Its mouth opened wider
as it took the meal to its fullest.
And last of all, sliding down the snake’s throat
were the tail and ass.
That sums up life in a
nutshell.
You get a taste of life, enjoy it for awhile,
and then come up with a mouthful of
shit.
